Organ Donations

For those of you who are organ donors, here's something to think about...

As you make your new years resolutions to lose weight, quit smoking, and other human addictions we'd all like to kick out the door, remember, that someday someone else will be receiving your organs and it's good sense to make sure you keep them all in excellent condition for the future recipients.

If you can't do it for yourself, at least do it for them...

That should be a decent motivator to help you stay on track with your diet and eliminating destructive habits....

More carrots less cake... ;p

Hi Peachbelle, thanks again for coming by my blog. It is good that my musings may actually help another and not merely something that benefits me. I have never been into diary writting (i read your blog about it) but somehow, i felt compelled to write my blog. At the very least, it helps me practice my writing skills and english. Also, putting down my thoughts helps consolidate them. You might notice that i try to blend my blog with a mix of the serious and trivial, all in keeping to moderation in everything i do in life. I would encourage that you keep writing; i mean, i am no booker prize candidate, and the flow of ideas comes and goes; sometimes when i look back i see what ever i put down is a load of nonsense, yet these should not deter us from writing as practice makes almost perfect (on and off). In every couple of nonsense there will be one that I am happy with. So, keep at it.
Lastly, I'd like to share with you that apart from the reason i mentioned for writing this blog, i am actually helping, in my own subtle way, someone i really care about find God. You know people dont like to be lectured to; i know i dont. Plus, i feel quite inadequate to lecture to begin with. I am no missionary anyway. But i know he reads these passages and I hope the meaning behind my writings will help him come back to God; God willing.

Take care. Keep blogging.

Q, my fave way of stretching the legs & losing weight is going out to a club and DANCING up a really good drippy sweat! : )
but *sigh* those days are sadly over for me, even dancing in the living room all alone is no longer possible due to my situation... and going outside for walking isn't much of an option here either, so someone gave me a manual treadmill recently, but the darn thing gets me breathless LONG before any sweat gets worked up...
it is just tooo easy to sit at computer and eat at the same time, so maybe for me less computer time will help... nawww, just kidding! I'm hooked on it, weight be damned! : )
